In the interest of continuous improvement, Softlayer making a change to the infrastructure we use to improve reliability and ensure the highest level of security. The top of rack switches are having In-Service Software Upgrades (ISSU) performed to bring them up to the latest code recommended by the manufacturer for these roles.
At the time of the upgrade, services will experience a series of outages of up to 10 minutes when the A switch for each network is reloaded.
